Assignment Title: Training Services on Fiduciary Procedures for Implementing an EU Grant under the PRAG Guidelines– Johannesburg South Africa
The Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development for Southern Africa (CCARDESA) has received financing from the EU towards the cost of Coordination of the establishment of the Regional Agroecology Network for Southern Africa ( RAENS) and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this grant towards eligible payments under this contract.
CCARDESA is a subsidiary organization of SADC and has the mandate of coordinating all matters of agricultural research and development in the SADC region. It facilitates the implementation of various projects, including RAENS Project.
The objective of this contract is to engage a training organization to provide two experienced professionals to conduct a 3-day training workshop on fiduciary procedures for implementing an EU grant under the PRAG guidelines. The training will focus on financial reporting, spending, procurement, and budget reallocation procedures as defined in the PRAG document.
The firm is expected to provide a minimum of two key experts to undertake the assignment in 3 working days from 2 to 4 December 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Centre for Coordination of Agricultural Research and Development for Southern Africa now invites eligible Consulting Firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consultants should provide information (a Comprehensive list of assignments showing description of similar assignments, Management Structure, experience in similar conditions) demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
The best qualified firm to carry out the services will be selected in accordance with the Lowest Cost Selection (LCS) method set out in the CCARDESA procurement manual and based on the following criteria:
- Qualifications and Experience of the Firm
The training company should have the following experience:
- Minimum of 10-year practical experience in managing EU-funded projects;
- Minimum of 10-year experience in delivering professional training in various disciplines;
- . Qualifications and Experience of the experts
The experts should have the following qualifications and experience:
- At least a Master’s degree or more in law, finance, procurement or economic sciences;
- At least 5-year practical experience in managing EU-funded projects
- At least 2-year experience in professional training.
