Launch of 24 Portuguese Climate Smart Agriculture Knowledge Products

The Centre for Coordination of Agriculture Research and Development in Southern Africa (CCARDESA) is excited to unveil 24 Portuguese knowledge products on Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA). This is part of CCARDESA’s continued effort to strengthen the capacities of agricultural value-chain actors to adapt to the negative impacts of climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the SADC region.
These are the first Portuguese batch to be launched. Prior to these KPs, 13 English Knowledge products were launched in June 2019.  The knowledge products are aimed at assisting policymakers and extension services navigate and implement different CSA technologies and practices across the four key agricultural value chains - Maize, Sorghum, Rice, and Livestock - in the southern Africa region. Each KP is also provided in English and French.
