Américo António Humulane is a socioeconomic researcher and executive secretary of the IIAM Scientific-Technical Council. Humulane is also a senior lecturer at the Higher School of Management, Science and Technology of Polytechnic University, where he teaches management sciences, at undergraduate level. From 2006 to 2018, he served as the head of the Department of Documentation, Information and Communication of IIAM, and from 1995 to 2005 he worked as a trainer in agriculture and rural development at the Center for Agricultural Training and Rural Development, Ministry of Agriculture. His educational background includes a degree in Agronomy, specialization in Rural Engineering, and a Master of Business from the University of Queensland, Australia.
