CCARDESA, through the GIZ-Adaptation to Climate Change in Rural Areas of Southern Africa (ACCRA) programme is pleased to share outputs from the Out-scaling climate-smart technologies to smallholder farmers in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This project has been executed through the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT) and the Zambian Agricultural Research Institute (ZARI). The goal of this project is to contribute to increased productivity, food security and climate resilience of smallholder farmers managing maize-based farming systems in contrasting environments of Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe through climate smart technologies. It will deliver evidence on how to build resilience in the maize value chain which can be out scaled to other countries in the SADC region.

To access the preliminary outputs of this project, they have been uploaded to the SAAIKS Knowledge Hub and links are provided below.
