Rangelands support millions of people and play a crucial role in climate resilience, but they are still underfunded. This webinar, hosted by the Herding For Health Programme, an initiative of Conservation South Africa and Peace Parks Foundation, in collaboration with GIZ SADC/Botswana, CCARDESA, and m.EAT naturally, will focus on practical ways to make rangelands investable. We’ll look at the conditions, structures, and systems needed to attract both public and private capital, and explore how blended finance can de-risk investments and unlock funding.
We will also share real-world examples showing how restoration and livelihoods can generate sustainable returns, bringing together perspectives from across the financing ecosystem to shape a credible investment narrative for rangelands.
